Brown eggs make me happy.

Hi, everyone. I have so many stories to tell and so many blog posts to write about them, but I'll make this real quick -- I'm craving for chicken, and James and I need to catch up on our geeky couple viewing schedule.

  • Recipe posts due: Homemade French Onion Soup on a budget, and Vegetable Crumble in Creamy and Stir-Fry versions.
  • I've been going on a vegetables-and-fruit binge lately. The above two recipes are rather telling. Plus, I find myself never going for a day without at least one or two pieces of fruit. Current poison of choice: ponkan oranges and sweet pineapple slices.
  • James and I have been currently enjoying Game of Thrones, Gundam OO (yes, that's Double Oh), and Gundam Unicorn. We caught the GoT bug just recently, and good grief, why didn't we sooner?! As for Gundam OO, James never said it better -- "It's essentially Leo Tolstoy's War ad Peace, in space, with mecha." What I found gripping about the series thus far is how close it actually hits to home in terms of present day politics and world events. When the first scenes of the first episode depicts an Afghan conflict and it feels real, among other circumstances, you sit up and pay attention. Or at least, I did.
  • I am now a redhead. I'll be writing about dying my hair by myself with Revlon Colorsilk Luminista in due time.
So, there. Right, chicken.

  1. You're a redhead! Waah. I like!

I had slightly reddish hair in September 2010, but it was cellophane, not actual dye. I want to make it more permanent but as I don't want to expose Elliott to anything, I will just have to wait.

I want to see the redhead you! :)

  2. Hooray for your new hair color! Pictures please <3 I wanna color my hair again. Graaah. But maybe after October. Hrm. Btw, how much was the hair color thing?

Also: We've been plurking about Game of Thrones! I dunno why you guys didn't catch the bug earlier. I'm done with book 1. And I have yet to start book 2. XDDD

  3. @Clair! Nakupo! I must get a nice picture of myself soon with the color in full play, but when? *starts jotting down plans* I do plan to write a blow-by-blow review of how the dyeing experience once soon. Please watch out for it!

As for GoT, well, I'll just say James prefers going into certain shows at his own pace. I'm glad he likes the series so much, he's avidly waiting for Season 2! :)

@Noelle: Thanks, dear! I share with you in keeping patient. Let's hope Elliot grows up soon so you can rock your color of choice soon! :) I'll do my best to take a picture of myself soon, ;D
