Teh Bewbz, It is a Lie! Part 3 (or at last! The dress is done!)
Hi readers. This is the final installment of a three-part series. Head over here to read the first and second part.
At last! The egg-blue dress is finally done! Woohoo!
She now sports lovely princess seams up the front of the bodice, as well as a blue halter strap that goes 'round the back of the neck, with a faux tortoise-shell buckle to accent. Yep, Mighty change of plans sometimes turn out for the best.
With the first fitting of the finished garment, it fitted so snugly, and gave a fantastic silhouette. (Yay! No need for faux belt anymore!) The fit of the dress also tells me two things. First, "mind your posture!", and two, "no more putting on weight!" XD
The pictures will follow shortly, soon as it's gone through the wash and the pressing board. I'm just really, really happy it's finally done. whew! One more project off the to-do list.
Now then... There's me mum's birthday dress, plus Clair's skirts, not to mention her knitted scarves, the first of which is now at four feet, three inches. Oh my.
Right.
